I feel like finally I’m a woman...it’s nice to show off my sexy side

Says Georgia May Foote, Street sweetie who's become a new sex siren. SHE has played teenage mum Katy Armstrong for almost three years – and now Georgia May Foote has blossomed into Corrie’s latest sex siren.

Gorgeous Georgia, 22, won legions of fans as the sweet but headstrong 18-year-old, and she is sure to win even more now her character has grown up into a foxy young woman.

Viewers have seen the young mum transformed into a stunning sexpot who has secret trysts with hunky Ryan Connor (played by Sol Heras) behind the back of adoring fiancé Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).

And actress Georgia is loving every naughty minute of it.

Reclining on a red, leather chaise longue wearing just a slinky black slip, Georgia tells The Sun: “I don’t know if Katy will get any naughtier, but I hope she does.

“I’d love her to get really feisty and be a wildchild and go off the rails. Any extreme you get to play is always fun.

“It’s nice to see the sexy side of Katy, to see her dressed up and going out to have fun.”

Until now, new mum Katy has only been seen in school uniform, maternity clothes or velvet tracksuits, feeding baby Joseph and cooking dinner for Chesney. But since her affair with DJ Ryan, Katy has unveiled a whole new wardrobe.
Georgia admits: “It’s strange being sexy because I’ve never really done anything like this... I’ve grown up. I feel like I’m finally a woman and it’s nice to let rip and show that off.
“Before, Katy was stuck between being a schoolgirl and a mum and it’s nice to have made the jump.”
Four year’s Katy’s senior in real life, Georgia is thrilled her character has finally rebelled because it means she gets some meaty, fun storylines.
She says: “It’s like production have realised she’s 18 and should be going out with her mates. I feel like she’s caught up with me.
“When I first started on the show I was only allowed to wear brown mascara and no make-up because they wanted her to be young.
“Now I’m like, ‘Are you sure I’m allowed to wear these clothes and this red lipstick?’
“But it’s lovely to come in at seven in the morning, when you’re still asleep, and somebody makes you look awake and sexy.”
When she is not working, Georgia also loves dressing up for nights out and feels most confident in bodycon mini dresses.
She explains: “I like high-waisted shorts when I go out and, dress-wise, I usually wear something quite high at the front, but tight. Being small I like things to be tight.”
And while she is happily embracing her sexy side, Georgia admits her scenes with Sol were a big departure from those with Sam and she still finds the steamier scenes awkward.
She says: “The first time Sol and I had to do a kiss it was before we had done any other scenes together.
“We said, ‘Let’s just do it’. I wanted to show why Katy would go for somebody like that — because she felt so much passion and it was electric and sexy. Whereas with Ches it was comfortable... we needed that jump.”
But Georgia insists it is really just another day at the office.
“There are so many crew members there that there is no real passion. If you saw us quivering on TV that was because it was freezing cold.”
Corrie fans have just seen duped Chesney call off the engagement after finding out about Katy’s fling.
But in real life, Georgia is blissfully enjoying her own engagement to longterm boyfriend John — which began on exactly the same day as Katy’s.

Flashing a classic diamond sparkler, Georgia reveals: “I got engaged on the same day I filmed Katy and Chesney getting engaged — by complete coincidence. It was such a shock to get proposed to twice in one day.
“When I came in the next day I said to the director, ‘I got engaged last night’, and he said, ‘I know’. And I said, ‘No, in real life!’ It was a really mad day.”
Just like Chesney and Katy, Georgia and John are childhood sweethearts who met when they were 15.
She adds: “Hopefully my engagement will be more straightforward and my wedding will go ahead!”
With Georgia working opposite hunky Sol all day, it seems little wonder that John, a plumber, wanted to get a ring on her finger.
But the actress insists they are completely devoted to each other.
She says: “He never gets jealous about my kissing scenes. It’s just a job at the end of the day and he understands that.
“We went to school together, he knows I love him and he’s seen me doing other things, like Emmerdale, so it’s no different now than it ever has been.”
Coronation Street is full of gorgeous girls such as Michelle Keegan, Paula Lane and Catherine Tyldesley, who play Tina McIntyre, Kylie Platt and Eva Price.
As Georgia prepares to join their ranks she reveals she has been working out at the gym to tone up.
She says: “I started going to the gym last year. I go for about 45 minutes and do a bit of cardio and powerplates. Powerplates are brilliant if you’re lazy and love McDonald’s.
“My posture has changed and my legs look longer, I’ve been looking really tall in photos but I’m only five foot one and a half.
“It’s toning up and I’m at the point where I feel comfortable with my body now.
“When I saw Katy’s new outfits, I thought, ‘It’s a good job I’ve been going to the gym!’ — but it was accidental timing.”
And Georgia is not the only one on set who is keen on keeping themselves in shape.
She laughs: “Sol gets his top off on set a lot. The other day I was like, ‘Where’ve you been?’ — because he’d had a four-hour break — and he was like, ‘Well, I’ve had to go to the gym, haven’t I?’
It’s an exciting time for Georgia, but her new found sex appeal on screen has not gone down well with Sam’s fans.
She reveals: “I’ve had a lot of people coming down the street shouting ‘Team Chesney’ at me and asking me how I could do that to him.
“People do love Ches — he can’t do wrong. He gets so much reaction I don’t know how he deals with it.”
After almost three years of sharing nearly every scene, Georgia admits she misses her buddy now they are no longer a Corrie item.
She says: “Me and Sam were a bit gutted because we are so used to working together — it was like breaking up for real. I wasn’t surprised but I didn’t think it would come so soon.”
Lots of young soap stars get itchy feet after three years but Georgia insists she will stay as long as the storylines keep her gripped.
She adds: “As long as they’re happy to have me, then I’m happy to stay. I love working at Corrie.”
