And it seems Rihanna was at it again after she posted a picture of herself smoking a suspicious looking cigarette on New Year's Eve.
The singer looked like she was having a great time in a series of images showing the party she hosted at her home in New York as she prepared to see in 2014.

Rihanna treated her best pals to a sumptuous dinner, before the gang headed out to see in the new year at the 40/40 club owned by Jay-Z, located near Madison Square Park in lower Manhattan.
And it certainly looked like a fabulous feast, with the Rude Boy favourite even channelling her inner Nigella Lawson and helping to make the food.
She helped one of her servants as she dished out a freshly prepared dish from a frying pan as the evening got into full swing.

The Umbrella favourite was joined on her excursion by her model best friend Cara Delevingne.
Her manager Jen Rosales photographer Melissa Forde, her assistant Jennifer Rosales, and makeup artist Mylah Morales were among the other big names at the bash.

And though she has never gone so far as admit she's an aficionado, after leaked photos showed her rolling a joint at 2012's Coachella Festival, she tweeted: '@rihanna ran out of f***s to give.'
She followed it up with a message to fans, tweeting: 'I'm crazy, and I don't pretend to be anything else.'
Her high profile model friend Cara, 21, has also been at the centre of drug controversies in the past.
