Russian boxer Beterbiev becomes absolute world champion in boxing

 RIYADH, October 13. /TASS/. Russia’s Artur Beterbiev won the title of the absolute world champion in the light heavy weight boxing division.

Beterbiev defeated his compatriot Dmitry Bivol in the 12-round bout staged in Riyadh.

This is the first time in the history when two Russian boxers fought for the title of the absolute world championship. Russians did not participate in unification bouts before. Beterbiev now holds IBF, WBO, WBC, and WBA titles.
