Take a journey into space at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2014 Paris show, where Rihanna was front row ready for take-off.

It was a comical start to an artistic showcase when a space flight attendant took to the stage to guide the audience through the JPG Airlines emergency procedure; and prepared they most certainly needed to be.


For if you didn’t speak French, Spanish, or English then the collection spoke for itself. Models took to the galactic green catwalk dressed in retro-futuristic rompers of varying shapes and sizes, accompanied by boots that rose above the thigh, and padded hoods.

But to add yet more Planet Fashion to JPG’s obscure yet sculptural collection, halfway through the show, the models transformed into ageing punks with grey mohawks. And if that doesn’t intrigue you enough, then we suggest you sit down and watch the show:
