MailOnline-News: Queen of prints Mary Katrantzou unveils rainbow collection with Anna Wintour in the front row at London Fashion Week

Mary Katrantzou is synonymous with bright, bold prints and her spring/summer14 collection reasserted her love of all things graphic.

Mary's collection, which she showcased in Westminster today, was inspired by a simple pattern on three pairs of shoes: a brogue, a plimsoll, and an evening slipper.

Her thematic collections revolve around an icon of luxury, in this case three of her favourite shoes, and has previously based her collections on perfume bottles, eighteenth century society paintings, and interiors.
The Greek designer transferred her inspiration into a rainbow coloured collection of floral patterns often embellished with Swarovski crystals for maximum impact.

There was neon purple, fluorescent green, electric blue and acid yellow, and - of course - the pinkest of pinks.
Mary added ruffles, rhinestones, ribbons, and bubble silhouettes - which were still being applied just an hour before the show kicked off - and gave her dresses some real oomph.
