Έπειτα από 17 μήνες, το πιο ακριβό σπίτι στο Μαϊάμι πωλήθηκε έναντι 60 εκατ. δολαρίων, δηλαδή 10 εκατ. δολάρια υψηλότερα από την ζητούμενη τιμή που άγγιζε τα 50 εκατ. δολάρια.

Το υπερπολυτελές ρετιρέ με θέα που κόβει την ανάσα έχει έκταση 12.516 τετραγωνικά πόδια και ανήκει στο συγκρότημα Faena House που διαθέτει 47 κατοικίες. Ωστόσο, αυτό θεωρείται μακράν το καλύτερο από όλες.


Το διαμέρισμα επίσης κατασκευάστηκε από την Faena House της Αργεντινής και απέχει λίγα μόλις μέτρα από την παραλία του Μαϊάμι με την λευκή άμμο.
Διαθέτει γυάλινους τοίχους και έχει πέντε υπνοδωμάτια, δύο κουζίνες και αποκλειστική πρόσβαση σε ένα ιδιωτικό ανελκυστήρα. Έχει επίσης dressing room, και μια πισίνα στην ταράτσα 9.900 τετραγωνικών ποδιών.

Όλοι οι κάτοικοι του συγκροτήματος, έχουν πρόσβαση στις ανέσεις και τις υπηρεσίες που διατίθενται, όπως spa, γυμναστήριο με θέα στον ωκεανό και ιδιωτικό κλαμπ στην παραλία.

$60 Million Miami Beach Penthouse Sale Breaks Record

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – You probably already know the South Florida real estate market is hot. But one recent sale is a jaw-dropping record breaker.
The Faena House is an 18-story ultra-luxury penthouse on Miami Beach selling for a record-breaking $60 million.
The house is lined up on what’s being called the Faena District, which stretches on Collins from 32nd Street to 36th.
Among other “perks,” the penthouse has nine bathrooms, a 70-foot long pool and a terrace that wraps around with views of the Miami skyline, Indian Creek and of course the Atlantic Ocean.
“We went from ground zero to now breaking records every day,” said Chad Carroll.
Carroll is a multi-million dollar listing agent in miami beach, tho unrelated to his particular sale.
He says this is monumental in South Florida real estate history.
“(In) 2008, condos were selling maximum $1,000, $2,000 a square foot.  And $4,800 a square foot, $60 million is unbelievable. I mean it shows consumer confidence in the market,” he said.
The $60 million sale shatters the last highest condo sale of just $27 million.
So, what’s next?  $80-million?  $100-million?   Where does the Miami and Miami Beach market seem to be going?
“All I know is people are dumping money into South Florida left and right.  It’s truly a cultural empire here.  It’s not just, you know, ‘Oh I come to Miami to have fun and party,’ but it’s the epicenter of the world,” said Carroll.
Carroll points out while most of us can’t afford a multi-million dollar home or condo, Miami and Miami Beach’s healthy real estate market benefits everyone who owns or looks to own.
As for who sprung $60 million for the penthouse here, no one’s saying.
