The United States has received "strong signals" from Russia that it is ready for peace to resolve the Ukraine crisis, US President Donald Trump said as he delivered a speech to the 2025 joint session of Congress.
"We’ve had serious discussions with Russia and have received strong signals that they are ready for peace," he said.
