The Flying Display is a two-scale major event which will involve both Military and Civil flying assets. Aircraft and helicopters will participate in a mission display, aerobatics or fly pasts according to their role and authorization granted from their bearers. Participants include:
Hellenic Armed Forces and Hellenic Coast Guard
At least eight (8) flying assets in a mission display and aerobatics
Civil Aviation
At least eighteen (18) assets in aerobatics and fly pasts as follows:
Aerobatics – Red Bull / Bo 105 (Austria), Aeroclub / Galeb (Serbia), WLF / (Italy – 3 a/c), Aero Club / Extra (Romania – 4 a/c), Svilen Ivanof / Pitts Special (Bulgaria)
Fly Past – Egnatia Aviation / two flight section with DA-40, 42, S 300 (6 a/c), M. Kyriakou Collection / A-26 Invader, Diamond / DA 42 MPP

Unveiling of a newly erected monument at Scala Prinou – Thasos island, dedicated to the WWI airmen that lost their lives operating from there during the Great War. During the ceremony there is going to be a limited display over the place of interest.
Parallel Activities
Thursday, 21 June 2012, 21:00 - A speech will be made on the occasion of the first day issue of a book titled “Aerial Warfare in Macedonia 1916-17”. It covers air operations in Eastern Macedonia during the Great War.
Static and R/C aircraft model and aviation photography exhibition throughout the show
Various demos at the coastal area from Friday 22/06 to Sunday 24/06 (10:00 – 13:00) which include R/C model flying, boat racing and sailing competitions organized by Kavala’s Yacht Club, rescue demos from Hellenic Red Cross and Hellenic Rescue teams, Hellenic Scout activities…
